My painting is realist and inspired by politic current.
I wonder about the impact that mass media images have on our vision of society, and about the political magnitude of Art.
Mass media images are the documentary basis of my plastic experimentations. Through newspapers, television and the Internet I pick and I archive images which represent people in various situations revealing of a social context. When I find the image which sharpens my political and aesthetic sensitivity I transpose it into painting.
I try to capture images that permit us to develop a critical vision of society. Indeed I consider one of the functions of Art as a way of broadcoasting informations and ideas.
