CV: Marit A. Otto (Hoorn 1970) painter/ artist
I started my career as a painter, autonomous artist in 1994. My atelier is located at the house of Cultural & Art exchange DOAS (De oude Ambachtsschool) Zwolle, the Netherlands
For me a main source of inspiration is, the human being, in shape and behaviour
I search for new angles within this theme. The friction between fiction, non-fiction and other contradictions, intrigues me. Graphic elements and styles take turns with a more classical approach of working. Primarily I’m a painter but I gladly express myself in 3d as a sculptor ore builder. If that is what it takes to express my idea at best.
