Statement:
All of us children have played with our imagination,
having seen the most varied and bizarre shapes emerge from the particular light and shadows of clouds.
I have continued to do that. Earth has taken the place of steam, my hands that of the wind.
This is because the imagine remains longer in our minds. Do you belive that the winds performs its transformations foe no reason?
Vita / Lebenslauf:
Andrea Bucci was born in 1966 in Viareggio, a city of Tuscany , on the italian sea coast, where he lives and works. Since 1986. this clay poet actively participates to the italian artistic life, with numerous collective and personal exhibitions, along with holding his own gallery in Lucca.
1987 E.A.S.A. Association at the Faculty of Architecture, Florence University.
1989 Since this year he has exhibited his works at the annual Encounter of Art at the studio’s permanente exhibition in Viareggio, during the month of August.
1994 The international exhibition Showcase of Contemporary Artists at Palazzo degli Affari in Florence.
