Recollection is an installation consisting of nine antique school desks and a salvaged blackboard. While on a glass fellowship at the Creative Glass Center of America in 2003, the artist was inspired by Wheaton Art�s School House to create this project. The desktops are re-fabricated in steel and cast glass, which is back-lit. Images of teachers and their students from the early 1900s are screen-printed onto the underside of each glass top.
