Vita / Lebenslauf:
Christian VELEZ, 40 yo, born in Saint-Jean-De-Luz, France, worked as an artistic director in advertising, press and television for more than 20 years.
Back for the last few years in his native Basque Country, he immerses himself hearthly in the bath of his origins, rediscovering the last and future places of his childhood as well as the visual arts problematics which result from this. He truly intervenes at the present as a witness/actor. With him, all traces of social, cultural and political representations undergo a metamorphosis that he emphasizes in a set of works akin to a metaphysical sing system. Currently involved in the new technologies of digital production, he explores very wide range of experimentations to extend his work as an art work.
