I wanted to make an icon of Saint Mary, but one that would be down to earth and sad, and not so much clothed in magnificent robes on a throne. I\'m not sure what came out of it, but that\'s what I was thinking when I started. Now it mainly looks to me like someone thinking things over, that have happened, rather sadly. |
