Calligraphy - Wall Pictures Nature is a powerful source of inspiration that invites to observe carefully and to meditate. For me, nature is an open book, and I try to decode the symbols in this book. In my paintings, which I call wall pictures, I use Arabic characters and symbols on canvas. The texts are compositions of word fragments with mystical meaning, comparable with the continuous texts that were created with cylinder seals in Mesopotamia.
