Premilcuore is a small hill village of about 900 inhabitants. It was since 1100 a feudal possession of the Counts Guidi and followed the fate of this family until it passed over to the Florentine Republic. Today Premilcuore is visited by an increasing number of tourists that like nature and the quietness of ancient woods. It was the place where I used to stay in holidays during summer when I was adolescent and where my parents have their second house. |
