I was standing in a boat just a few days ago facing the shore of Lake Ontario. The sun was behind the trees and the trees seemed to glow. I quickly took several photos of the shoreline. This painting is from those photos. I used several different painting techniques and many different products to create this piece. The water was done with a pallet knife while the foliage was mostly impressionism and tonalism. There are multiple layers and and glazes used.
