In these works, I represent visions, tales, emotions that belong to my most intimate experiences and perceptions: tales of violence seen through the eyes of a child, and maybe for this reason, even more terrible. Violence against women, the environment, the powerful on the weakest. But even fairy tales, ancient stories, an ideal world where one can find a sort of refuge when the brutality which pervades our world becomes unbearable. In the past I used mainly paper, but in the last year I have been seduced by the new possibilities of digital art, which helped me to deepen my feelings without losing my own style. I am just a story-teller: therefore, being free to choose whether the princess is dead or only deeply asleep is part of the game.
