1943 geboren in Lahnstein
1968-72 Studium an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Hamburg
1981-82 Paris-Stipendium des Kultusministeriums NRW
1991-93 Lehrauftrag an der Fachhochschule Düsseldorf
lebt und arbeitet seit 1975 in Düsseldorf

Activities:
1972 erste Museumseinzelausstellung im Museum Folkwang, Essen
danach bis heute zahlreiche Einzelausstellungen in Museen und
Galerien.
seit 1967 Ausstellungsbeteiligungen in vielen Großstädten
der Welt, u.a. auch an der documenta 6 in Kassel (1977)

Arbeiten in öffentlichen Sammlungen, u.a. in Hamburg, Wiesbaden, Hagen,
Düsseldorf, Nürnberg, Tübingen, Kaiserslautern, Zürich, Stuttgart, Mainz, Bonn, New York City (MoMA), London, Rouen, Bergisch Gladbach,
Herne, Bremen, Basel.
