Bio / Resumee / Statement:
Jan Kocnar-Kral sprich (kotschnarr-Kral)
Geboren April 1955 in der damaligen CSSR.
1970 - Flucht mit seinem Vater in die Schweiz, Interlaken BE.
Nach abgeschlossener doppel Berufslehre Spengler/Sanitär, beendete er
auch eine fast zweijährige Fernkunstschule nach dem Motto:WENN KEIN DIPLOM also genug "Nasevoll.
Er zog quer durch die Schweiz. Bern,Basel,Lausanne,Genf.
Nebenberuflich studierte Jan Kocnar fakultativ an der UniZH, die Kunstgeschichte und nahm Teil am Untericht fürs Figürliches Zeichnen an der Limmatquai
Kunstgewerbeschule in Zürich.
Von 1974 bis Ende 1984 in Interlaken, hatte ich immer noch den Atelier
mit Ausstellungs-Galerie mit einem Kumpel Goldschmied.
1985 naja, und irgendwie bin ich durch eine Heirat südlich von Bodensee, Toggenburg
in Wattwil gelandet,wo ich erst brav meine Spenglerei-Sanitär Bude
führte, so wie Peter Fox singt,- eine nette Familie hatte.
1991
Nach meiner Scheidung vermehrte Vertiefung in die Künstlerische Arbeit und in meine Kunstgeschichte.
Da bin ich wieder.
Eigenentwickelte Technik und Werkzeug zur Bearbeitung von Kupfer/Silber und sonstge Metalle.
Der Kunsthandwerk bremst und schränkt mich ein,doch mein Geist führt mich wieder auf meinen Boden zurück,zurück zur Rebellion.
