Statement:
As with any collection whether in private or public, the pieces that he assembled vary in personal importance and artistic quality. Most of his paintings remain relatively unknown to many, having only appeared on a few websites. Until this day it is considered quite an undertaking to witness an example of Navelino’s Art.
Oftentimes beset with a harsh reality of life, it has been difficult for the artist to spend for material things in order to create and promote what he loves doing most. Yet, how can he humanly quell the countless ideas running through his mind or the numerous scenes of his world just begging to be captured on canvas? These would fill several catalogues and diskettes and cabinets! He could only wish to have within him this formidable drive to do the same thing decades from now. He’s quite sure it wouldn’t be the same way it had been but he’ll probably burn bridges just to get there.
Vita / Lebenslauf:
It’s a compelling fascination for me to express myself through this medium. My everyday activity at work inspires me to execute a design I would lay out in print after office hours.
It’s always a trial and error formula that works for me best. I’m not afraid to try new materials in producing something close to what I really wanted.
