Statement:
Good (and bad) ideas and thoughts don\\\'t come to us when we are consciously thinking about them, they\\\'re spontaneous. This is how art is for me and this is how my work is created. Consequently, my subjects are extremely varied. The particular subject, however, has no specific meaning to me at the time, but rather, it\\\'s the \\\"feeling\\\" which allows that subject to manifest itself creating it\\\'s own personality and mood.\\\" Art is a true gift from God.
Vita / Lebenslauf:
Canadian artist Ruth Palmer, proud member of the Worldwide Women Artists Online is a versatile contemporary artist working and experimenting with various mediums. Ruth is probably best known for her spontaneous and colorful compositions such as the best-selling \\\"Meeting In The Middle\\\" series and her popular contemporary Christian abstract works.
Her most widely used medium is acrylic, however, digital and computer art is a close second. Ruth is also a supporting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
Ruth�s paintings are currently in private collections throughout Canada, the United States, Australia, England and Scandinavia.
