Vita / Lebenslauf:
I portray the agricultural businessman and how hard they work to keep their businesses alive with competition like big business and housing developers. Big businesses are selling things cheaper than the small businessman can because of cheap labor overseas. The farmer is also having a hard time staying in business with prices going up and big corporate farms taking over. Housing developers are taking advantage of the farmers plight and they are buying the land to make cheap housing developments. I portray the destruction of the land and I also show the complexity of the different cuts of meat and how difficult it is for the meat wrapper to memorize all of the cuts. My goal is to emphasize the physical labor, the art, and the skill that is involved in these agricultural businesses.
