Marcos Andruchak is a contemporary geometricist figurative artist who began exhibiting his works in 1981. Born and raised in Brazil, Andruchak was an accomplished and gifted artist from a young age. As a maturing adolescent, he discovered his distinct style and fondness for painting deeply idealistic subject matter. He then began his journey towards becoming a professional painter through fine art composing works in visual arts. His innate passion for expressing mood and emotion by colors on canvas along with his mastery of technique in acrylic and graphite was soon recognized, in Brazil and abroad. Andruchak was acclaimed as an exceptional new talent, praised for his authentic portraiture. His stylized, geometrized subjects echoed cubist elements and the dramatic lighting of the modern period. His geometrical pattern and discontinuities drew attention from established artists, collectors, and galleries and immediately propelled Andruchak to the forefront of a burgeoning art movement. His recognition as a leading contemporary master painter grew internationally and moved Andruchak into the celebrated realm of solo exhibitions in São Paulo, Paris e Amsterdã.
