Statement:
Because visual art is a non-verbal form of expression, it is difficult for me to explain to you exactly what I do. I would rather leave that to the critics. I believe looking at art should be like listening to music. Just let the work speak for itself. Don't try to over-analyze what you see. Observe quietly and let the work talk to you, not you to it.
Vita / Lebenslauf:
Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. He demonstrated noticeable artistic talent as a child which allowed his parents to enrolled him in children's classes at the Worcester Art Museum. He continued to develop artistically and to win the attention of his teachers throughou his early years.
His undergraduate university years were completed at Clark University, in Worcester. His post-graduate studies took him to New York University and then to Mexico, and the Instituto Allende in San Miguel, a divison of the Univesity of Guanajuato. He was next granted a scholarship to study in Rio de Janeiro, after which he returned to New York, to continue his work at the Art Student's League where many famous artists studied before him.
In New York he exhibited his works in numerous galleries and enjoyed several one-man shows there. Recently he relocated to Orlando, Florida where he currently maintains his studio. In June 2009 he held his first Florida one-man exhibit at the Orlando Museum of Art. He continues to exhibit his work in galleries in New York and Florida, recently winning the Mixed Media Award at the von Lieb Center of Art at the Naples, Forida Museum of Fine Art.
