Bio / Resumee / Statement:
After college in the Netherlands Birgit lived some twenty years in various European countries as well as the Far East. Although self-taught she studied painting with different artists whom she met during these years abroad. In those years she used to work in commission, mainly with watercolours and pastels.

Now back in her native Holland since a few years, she is mostly painting with acrylics which she enjoys very much. Most of her work is colourful. Birgit�s love for nature is apparent as many of her paintings contain flowers or farm animals. But also other original themes inspire her which makes her portfolio very diverse.
