Listen to the speech of the primal gods

Vita / Lebenslauf:
There were only a few villages in Iceland where the “palm forging” was practiced. Because of its complexity for mastering and invention of modern technologies “palm forging” is almost died out.

The last days of my grandfather’s life I spent learning his craft, so that his work wouldn’t be lost. I developed the craft into a kind of modern art.

My first artworks aroused great interest among my friends and art experts. But I felt that I could do more in this work, that I need more practice and knowledge to express my feelings and ideas by metal forming. That’s why I decided to make an around-the-world travel.

With my work I want to awake this ancient art to life again and to show the beauty of metal to the world.
