Bio / Resumee / Statement:
Wo arbeite ich? Ich arbeite und lebe in Duisburg. Bin 2008 in eine Altbauwohnung mit meiner Familie gezogen wo ich endlich ein eigenes Atelier habe - klein aber mein.

Wie bekomme ich meine Ideen? Spontan muss mir was gefallen wenn ich etwas sehe und dies geschieht meistens zufällig. Bin ich von dem Objekt/Motiv überzeugt und begeistert, dann beginnt in meinem Kopf bereits die Umsetzung.

Was will ich mit meiner Arbeit ausdrücken? Zurzeit bin ich auf das Figurative in meinen Bildern fixiert. Ich möchte keine perfekten menschlichen Abbildungen erschaffen, eher einen zum Teil abstrakten Raum mit Mensch/Menschen die sich in einem bestimmten Prozess der Darstellung und Szene befinden.

Welche Materialien verwende ich? Ich male überwiegend mit Acrylfarbe auf Leinwand. Für gewisse Passagen verwende ich aber auch mal einen Lackstift. Die Vorarbeiten meiner Werke mache ich allerdings am Computer. Foto/Bild was mir gefällt wird dann anschließend Nach- bzw. Überarbeitet bevor es letztendlich auf die Leinwand kommt.

Welche Vorbilder habe ich? Meine größten Vorbilder sind Picasso (Abstrakt jedoch noch erkennbare Körper) und Gerhard Richter (keine festgelegte Richtung/Stil).

Weshalb bin ich, wie ich bin? Eine korrekte Antwort auf diese Frage gibt es aus meiner Sicht nicht. Was mich ausmacht ist meine kreative Kraft die in mir ist.

Activities:
Autodidakt: Dirk Jung (geb. 1970, Duisburg) mit dem Künstlernamen \\\"DJ\\\". Als Jugendlicher begann ich schon zu malen. Mitte der 90er Jahre hatte ich einige Ausstellungen in Duisburg sowie in Düsseldorf bei namhaften Firmen, u. a. eine eigene große Ausstellung im Ballhaus im Nordpark / Aquazoo.

Die früheren Werke waren sehr vom Abstrakten geprägt. Die jetzigen Acrylbilder sind figurativ mit abstrakten Elementen und schaffen somit einen Interpretationsraum. Er konstruiert seine Bilder so, dass sie zu möglichst subjektiven Deutungen verleiten. Ab 2010 starte ich steil durch wie z. B. die Teilnahme an Kunstwettbewerben, Kunstmesse - ART FAIR NRW und ab Oktober Ausstellungen in Berlin.
