Ihre farbgewaltigen Werke porträtieren seelische Zustände: Man begegnet hier den Themen Einsamkeit und Schmerz ebenso wie der Idee der Liebe. Diese menschlichen Gemütszustände erscheinen hier als Grundthemen der menschlichen Psyche, die somit allgemeingültig sind und losgelöst von Raum und Zeit ihre Gültigkeit bewahren. Aus der Fülle und der Vielfalt der hier zur Abbildung gelangenden Gefühlszustände lässt sich die Möglichkeit „revolutionärer“ Abläufe in der menschlichen Psyche ableiten, aufgrund derer das menschliche Individuum von einem psychischen Zustand in den nächsten, möglicherweise gegenständlichen, übertritt oder „gestoßen wird“..."
