Shortlisted for the Celeste Art Prize 2007.
These works examine the Human Condition through the study of Anatomy and are selected from the last 4 years of drawing and painting. This started with a sequence of paintings displaying 99 isolated body parts in a grid. 99 represents the infinite- the end and the beginning simultaneously.
\\\\\\\"Victor\\\\\\\", a recent drawing that updates medieval \\\\\\\"Wound Man\\\\\\\" illustrations, where various injuries were illustrated on a figure to aid early surgeons. This reflects contemporary concerns of crime and disease as well as acknowledging the history and tradition of Anatomy Drawing.
