Vita / Lebenslauf:
I hope you enjoy the pictures in my gallery, my motivation to paint is a little unusual, my day job is Cartomancy, counselling Clients with their work and personal lives by reading their fortune in a deck of cards, their consultations has led me back to my first love Art, to help me download the tension that builds up with the intense concentration required during readings.
When I was a teen I qualified, to enter the Halle “Burg Giebichtenstein University of Art” but personel reasons at the time prevented me from taking the offer of a scholarship, so today I’m very pleased to have the opportunity to paint again, even more so to be actually selling pictures. My style hasn’t changed even after all the years, it’s pure and honest expressionism, but you have to look, and the more you will see, look again and you will see something new.
I sold my first picture to a local executive in Leipzig just two months ago (January 2013), one of my card Clients, he saw the picture on the wall of my reading room and asked if it was for sale, I hadn’t given any thought to selling my pictures believing they were only good for decoration of our home at best, and I was reluctant but as his offer price went up I got to a point I couldn’t refuse. In the last two weeks two of his colleagues came to buy pictures too, and a local gallery has now offered to exhibit my work this summer, they have selected forty pictures so I have decided to clear my walls completely and offer the remaining here for sale, and hopefully usher in a new season of completely fresh pictures over the next year.
