Bio / Resumee / Statement:
While painting, at best I feel completely lost yet powerful. I sense this language intuitively; a language with its own nuances which I do not feel excluded from nor do I feel compelled to know fluently.
I am drawn to the curiosities of communication: a word in another language with no translation, or seemingly insignificant phrases which a foreigner can only pretend to fully understand. Through color, gesture and rhythm, I communicate that which verbally eludes me. The juxtaposition of colors transition from harmony to tension.
I paint from intuition.
I have no preconceptions.
Its direction unfolds through the process. I add, eliminate and witness its development. I strive to free myself from projected thought, and instead to work from an abandon.
