I was born in Brittany France and educated in Paris and London. I painted in Paris until 2000 when I moved my studio in San Jose California. As of today I am living on the East coast of the US.
I started my career in 1994 as a figurative painter working in acrylics on canvas and exploring genres of portraiture, landscape, still life and fantasy.
In 2005 I was drawn to the aesthetics of movement and attracted to express motion through the abstraction process. Therefore I worked on transcending forms and colors to bring them into motion.
I nurture my mind with all kind of arabesques and colors and I explore that material to make random colors the unique vehicle for the visual aspect of my work. I use colors as entities which have the power to reveal their own motion onto canvas. I play with hues to capture their strength and their intensity and I structure them in dense patterns to enhance their rhythm. I like to create subliminal and dramatic images to please my eye as much as my brain.
My painting is the achievement of a choreography in which colors play the music and patterns perform the dance.
