Statement:
"Gestaltete Wahrnehmung - Bilder aus 5 Jahrzehnten einer "Bilderwerkstatt" " "In der Liebe und der Kunst weiß ich genau , was ich NICHT will" (Cornelia Schleime) Bilder sind BILDER Bilder bleiben BILDER Man kann sich auf ihre visuelle Sprache,auf ein "Gespräch" mit ihnen , einlassen ,man kann es aber auch bleiben lassen .. Meine Bilder sollen im besten Fall den Betrachter locken , sich auf sie einzulassen. Mich haben in meinen Bildern immer eine Art "Psychogram der DINGE" interessiert ,das hat nix mit diesem blödsinnigen Begriff "Seelenkunst" gemein :-) . Bilder müssen nicht "Kunst" sein....sind es vielfach in meinem Verständnis auch nicht ....eher eine Lebensäußerung. Ich erhebe keinen Anspruch ,ein Künstler zu sein. Meine Bilder sind ausschließlich die Reflexion meiner äußeren und inneren Wahrnehmung, insofern manchmal auch "Therapie", und erheben keinen Anspruch , dem Betrachter eine "Botschaft" überbringen zu wollen. Martin Walser ,Lesen und Scheiben, Tagebücher 1951-1952 ,1958 S.229 : "Schreiben ist nur dann gerechtfertigt, wenn man es auch täte, ohne je Aussicht auf Veröffentlichung zu haben. Kein Autor kann verlangen , daß er gelesen wird.........Schreiben ist wie das Einrichten einer Wohnung: man tut es so gut wie möglich,weil man sich wohl fühlen will , man tut es aber auch mit dem Gedanken, daß einmal Besuch kommen wird, der die Einrichtung zu schätzen weiß. Aber es ist sehr unhöflich, einen anderen Menschen zu einem Besuch zu zwingen; wenn niemand kommt, hat man es für sich getan." DAS IST ES! "Schreiben" steht hier für mich ANALOG zum "MALEN"

1982 Übersiedelung nach Ostberlin
Februar 1989 Flucht aus der DDR
seit 1989 in Hamburg lebend
seit Sommer 2016 Rückkehr nach Neustrelitz
Sommer 2017 Beendigung des Berufslebens in Hamburg und kompletter Rückzug nach MV
lebenslange autodidaktische Beschäftigung mit Malerei/Zeichnungen
in den Hamburger Jahren mehr Malerei, fast ausschließlich Atelierarbeiten.
