Vita / Lebenslauf:
Manuel L. Acosta is born in Malaga (Spain). His family moves to Targuist, population of the mountains of the Rif (Morocco). The infancy happens in the north of Africa. With twelve years he is going to live to Plan, in the Pyrenees of Huesca (Spain). Years later he move to Catalonia. Was influenced by artists, as Honoré Daumier, were transmitting the social critique across his works. The Expressionism, the “black” Goya, Schiele, Segantini, Von Stuck or Caspar Friedrich, outlines his style.
