Statement:
Alle hier ausgestellten Bilder sind Originale. Sie sind nummeriert und handsigniert. Es existieren davon keine Drucke oder Kopien. Sollten welche auftauchen, sind diese Fälschungen.
Die meisten dieser Gemälde sind entstanden aus einer Idee heraus, aus Erinnerungen, Träumen und in dem augenblicklichen Gemütszustand. Sie werden daher von mir nicht kopiert. Einige erzählen auch eine Geschichte, andere sind durch Zufall entstanden. Wieder andere sind Erinnerungen an die Zeit in Australien und anderen Ländern. Es wurden teilweise auch Fotos als Anregung verwendet.
Alle Bilder sind auch an den Seiten bemalt und mit Aufhängern versehen. Wenn nicht ausdrücklich vermerkt, sind sie ungerahmt. Selbstverständlich können die Bilder auf Wunsch gerahmt werden, wobei zusätzliche Kosten entstehen würden. Bei allen Bildern kommen noch die Kosten für den Versand und Versicherung dazu.

Bio / Resumee / Statement:
Schon als Kind fühlte sich die Künstlerin Monika Ciesielski zur Malerei hingezogen. Erst seit 1997, während eines längeren Auslandsaufenthaltes, ist die Autodidaktin wieder aktiv künstlerisch tätig. Sie besuchte in Sydney einen Kurs in der seit 1890 bestehenden Julian Ashton Art School. Es wurde nach Modellen gemalt oder in der freien Natur. Es enstanden in dieser Zeit einige Pastellbilder und auch Ölbilder.
Später, als sie nach Queensland umsiedelte, schloss sie sich einer Gruppe von Künstlern an, um Erfahrungen auszutauschen und an regelmäßigen Ausstellungen teilzunehmen. Hier verwendete sie unter anderen auch Acrylfarben für ihre Bilder.
Der Reiz immer wieder neue Techniken und Motive zu bewältigen, spiegelt sich in ihren Gemälden wieder. Unter ihren Werken findet man Landschaftsbilder, Stillleben, Porträts, Akt.- und Tierbilder und einige abstrakte Bilder.
Seit 2001 lebt und arbeitet die Künstlerin wieder in Deutschland.

Verschiedene Ausstellungen ab 2000 in Sydney und Queensland (Australien), 2007 Rathaus, Bretten und 2008 Kelter, Knittlingen. Zwischen dem 11.-13. September 2009 ist wieder eine Ausstellung in der Kelter in Knittlingen geplant.
