Stefano Fanara was born in Favara (AG), Italy on February 11th, 1963.
From a very early age an innate creative force led him to art. He started painting with tempera then he painted with acrylics, Indian ink, oils and watercolours. Fascinated by experimentation and by new techniques in painting and photography he became interested in dance, zen meditation, theatre and cinema. Thanks to this experimental pursuit he began working with important people in theatre, painting and cinema and attended their intensive theatre workshops together.
Stefano Fanara lives and works in Bologna. He has a degree in Pedagogy (Literature and Philosophy faculty) and is specialised in Special Pedagogy for teaching disabled children.
