Statement:
I twist ancient and urban legends, myths, folklore, classical literature to reflect upon contemporary life. My paintings are visual Zen koans of sort. They deal with universal themes such as war, ideologies, religion, corruption, consumerism, love, hatred, and even the art of making art. I hope to free the elan vital within myths and legends, and thus keep them perpetually green.
